OMS app: Processing an eTransfer order
Learn how to handle eTransfer orders in the Breadstack OMS tablet app. These orders require payment confirmation before they can be processed and completed.
New eTransfer orders will appear in the New Orders tab, typically in the Pending Picking section.
Before processing an eTransfer order, check the Payment Status icon:
-
Orange indicates payment is still pending. When you receive it, confirm payment (Step 1 below).
-
Green indicates payment has been confirmed. Your next step is to pick and pack the items (Step 2 below).
Note for Greenline POS users
If your store uses Greenline, you must handle eTransfer orders slightly differently from the process below. You will need to tender eTransfer payments directly in your POS as soon as you receive payment.
- For pickup orders - This will automatically change the order status to Completed in Breadstack (with the payment status Paid).
- For delivery orders - This will change the order status to Processing in Breadstack (with the payment status Paid). You can continue to fulfil the order from here (see "Next Steps" below).
Step 1: Confirm payment
- Open the order details panel.
- Tap eTransfer Received once the payment has been confirmed.
Once payment is confirmed, the order’s status will update to Processing, allowing it to move forward. You'll now be able to print a receipt.
Step 2: Pick and pack the items
-
Gather the items listed in the order.
-
Confirm quantities match the order.
-
Pack the items appropriately for pickup or delivery.
Step 3: Mark items ready
Once the order is prepared and payment has been confirmed:
-
Tap Items Ready in the order details panel.
-
The order will move from Pending Picking to Ready for Pickup.
Be aware
-
Notifications may be sent to the customer when the order is ready, depending on the order's fulfillment type and your store setup.
-
Orders cannot be marked as ready until payment has been confirmed.
Next steps
After marking items ready, your next steps will depend on the order's fulfillment type:
-
In-store or curbside pickup: Wait for the customer to arrive, then complete the order (see Completing pickup orders).
-
Local delivery: The order will be assigned to a driver for delivery confirmation (see Completing delivery and mail orders).
-
Mail orders: Prepare waybills and track shipment progress (see Completing delivery and mail orders).
