WordPress: Adding a store notice

This guide shows how to add or update a WooCommerce store notice (the small banner at the top or bottom of your site).

Because WordPress is a third-party platform, we can offer general guidance but cannot troubleshoot WordPress-specific issues.

Store notices can be helpful for announcing holiday hours, policy updates, or delivery changes.

They appear as a site-wide banner at the top or bottom of your store. To add a store notice, watch our quick video or follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your WordPress dashboard.

  2. Go to Appearance > Customize.

  3. Select WooCommerce > Store Notice.

  4. Enter your message. Note that if you want to include a link in your store notice, you will need to use HTML.

  5. Toggle Enable store notice on.

  6. Click Publish to push your notice live.
