You can use Breadstack to customize a product's slug, regardless of whether you have set manual entry or PoS sync as your source for product information.
- Go to Online Store > Products > All Products and click on the product whose slug you would like to edit.
- Under Slug, enter a new slug for the product.
What makes a good slug?
A strong slug helps both users and search engines understand what the page is about.
- Keep slugs short and clear.
- Use descriptive, keyword-rich terms.
- Use hyphens, not spaces or underscores, to separate words. Hyphens are recognized as word separators by search engines.
- Use the same pattern for similar types of products to maintain a clean URL structure.
